Genevieve's Baptism

Genevieve was so happy to just sit and relax in her great grandmother's lap.

My grandma, Genevieve's great grandmother, Martha O'Bannon came up for the occasion.

Genevieve's Gammie made her christening gown. It is absolutely beautiful and something that will be a part of our family for generations to come.

We baptized Genevieve last weekend. Lots of friends and family came to Birmingham to help us celebrate. It was a great weekend, so much fun!

Daddy's girl

This is a picture I took while Kevin was home for lunch the other day. It's such sweet shot of my baby girl and her daddy. Watching Kevin become a dad has been one of the greatest joys of my life thus far. She is a lucky little girl....

Genevieve is 2 months old!

2 months and counting!

I actually caught a smile. Look at those cheeks! You would never know now that she ever had growth issues.

I love this expression, I am always wondering what she is thinking about.

My sweet baby girl is 2 months old! She has changed so much over the past 2 months. She is always smiling and trying to talk to us. She is just so alert and interactive. I can't believe how much she has grown.

This is a Taylor bubble. This pattern was really easy. It's a great pattern to start with if your just getting into or back into sewing, and so cute!

Another Taylor bubble that I put together all by myself after Bradley left. It's just missing the buttons.... so proud of myself:)

My best friend Bradley and her precious little girl, Janie Belle, came up to Birmingham to spend a few days with me and Genevieve. Bradley brought her embroidery machine and we made lots of cute things for Genevieve. It was so much fun! It has definitely given me the sewing bug again!
