I was going through some old pics tonight and found these from Thanksgiving.  Memere had her hands full...but somehow I don't think she minded.

Catching up....

It has been months since I have posted anything on the blog, so here comes the a quick 'catch up' on whats been going on lately.  To make a long story short, we moved to the great state of Mississippi in February and have been getting settled into small town life for the past couple of months.  We are here temporarily and hope to be home around this time next year.  It has been pretty tough leaving home.  I miss it A LOT, but we are finally settling in and starting to meet people.  One of the big changes in our household has been that I am not working as a nurse while we are here.  It has been an adjustment, especially since we couldn't get Miss Priss into any kind of MDO until August.  So, me and the baby girl have been spending lots of quality time together :)  I must say, I love being home full time with her!  Here are some pics of our last couple of months....

At the end of January I took G out for a little 'Valentine's' session.  I fully intended to get a good pic that I could then turn into a Valentine's Day card for the family....that never happened because we ended up moving the first week in February, but I still love the way the pics turned out.  They are some of my all time favorites.

One of our favorite things to do here is to go fishing.  G loves it!  She is much braver than here Mama when it comes to the bait, no fear.  (the picture quality is horrible of these next couple, they were taken with our small video camera, boo)

Since we couldn't get into a MDO program, I decided to let G start dance.  This is her on her first day.  She was so excited!  She walked around the house for a week saying 'I can't wait to be a ballerina', so stink'in cute :)

 In April, G and Daddy went to Chick-fil-a for a Princess Daddy/Daughter date night.  This sweet princess was decked out!

 

Ok, more to come soon....I haven't even gotten to Disney World yet, HA!

Christmas card pics

I have been taking pictures for other people's Christmas cards lately, but yesterday I finally took my sweet girl out to get pictures for our Christmas card!!  I am not going to show the one I picked, but here are a few of the others that I liked :)

Lovely Fall Leaves...

G and I spent the morning at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens today....wow, some of the fall leaves are just beautiful.  I have done a few photog sessions out there recently and had to go back and get a few of my sweet girl in all the pretty colors.  She was definitely not as good of a model as the other little ones I've been shooting lately, Ha!!

I am going to post a few images from my recent sessions soon.  I am so excited and honored to have had the opportunity to take pictures for others.  It has been so much fun :)
